Role Overview

We're building the platform for creating consumer-facing AI voice agents.

Phone calls have long had a bad reputation. All of us have been stuck in long waiting queues, dealt with unhelpful support agents, or listened to endless hold music. Even though voice is the most natural way to communicate, it has never scaled for businesses.

We believe that every B2C company in the world - from energy providers, to telecoms, to insurances - will have AI voice agents that interact with their customers. The number of business-to-consumer conversations over the phone is going to explode in the coming years. As LLMs get better and better it will become an absolute no-brainer to use voice agents to provide consumers with a great experience.

The opportunity is massive and we know we can win.

Mission

You are telli's first sales hire. You focus on generating pipeline for a voice AI product with massive market pull, then owning the full sales cycle as you grow. You'll shape our sales playbook and build the sales team that runs on it.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Generate qualified pipeline to help 10x telli’s revenue over the next year
  2. Identify the right prospects and engage with them
  3. Drive outreach across multiple channels including email, linkedin and phone
  4. Build and manage relationships with customers
  5. Develop into owning and closing deals end-to-end as early as after 6 months of great performance
  6. Manage pipeline and maintain CRM tooling
  7. Shape telli’s GTM motion, build a repeatable sales process & refine outreach strategies

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  1. You have previous sales experience in startups or other fast-moving environments
  2. You have consistently exceeded your targets or KPIs
  3. You have strong business sense to understand problems and needs of different companies
  4. You’re are hands-on and not afraid of doing unglamorous work
  5. You’re a strong communicator in both English and German
  6. You want to work with smart and friendly people with (self-reported) low ego
  7. You want to work on-site 5 days a week in Berlin

  1. You need detailed instructions and shy away from taking responsibility
  2. You lack basic product understanding
  3. You're only interested in high-level "strategic" work
  4. You don't enjoy direct customer interaction
  5. You have never sold something
  6. You prefer working remotely
  7. You prefer working with minimal collaboration
  8. You want to work a 9-5 job
