Despite that, many founders don’t know they can raise money from unaccredited investors, or they don’t understand why they should. Your job is to change that.
We believe in a future where companies don’t let their customers invest as a “nice to have,” but because it’s the right thing to do. In the same way a company might have a sustainability policy, or a stance on hiring a diverse team, we believe companies should feel a social obligation to let everyday people invest alongside their angels and VCs.
Your job is to help us spread that ethos - of everyday people investing alongside the rich - to startup founders across the country.
You are probably a restless founder between startups, willing to commit a year. Or you might still be working on your startup full-time — this could be a part-time role for the right person.
- You are a former, current, or future founder. You get shit done.
- You’re highly empathetic; because you’ve been there, you command respect from founders, and can give them advice that proves to be true more often than not.
- You are ready to work full or part time, often coming to our office in San Francisco.
- You’re intellectually curious and humble; in this role, you may talk to a SaaS founder about their cap table one hour, and work with an ostrich farmer on his pitch in the next. That variety is exciting to you.
- Talking to founders everyday gives you energy; You believe in our mission.
- $125k to $180k plus equity depending on experience
- Unlimited vacation days (mandatory 3 weeks off)
