What we are building at Conveo

Conveo is the AI research platform enabling fast, affordable, and high quality consumer / B2B research. Global brands like Unilever, Google, and Orange use our AI video interviewer to generate insights across marketing, product, and research teams.

The Context

Our events engine is firing. Dallas just delivered 20 meetings booked; Qual360 NA added another 14. We have three more US events in April alone, and the calendar is only growing. We need someone on the ground in the US who can own that delivery at full intensity while we keep building the global strategy, reporting engine, and lead-scoring framework centrally.

Our Events Lead (@Julia Sirotina) runs the global events operation — strategy, commercial negotiations, reporting, and the EMEA calendar. She will continue to own the global event strategy and commercial roadmap, including contract renewals, the reporting engine, and global lead scoring. This role reports directly to her and focuses 100 % on US execution and growth : delivering high-impact events, running virtual activations, and expanding our US footprint.

This is not a strategy-design role. The strategic roadmap, data engine, and global playbook already exist. You plug into that system and make US events excellent — fast, consistent, and pipeline-generating.

Your Mission

1. Deliver US events that feel category-defining

We don't do "good enough" booths or forgettable presence. You make Conveo unmissable at every US event.

  1. Lead end-to-end on-the-ground execution: booth setup, merch, logistics, travel, vendor management, on-site coordination
  2. Manage multiple events running in parallel across different US cities
  3. Secure speaking slots and panel positions that put Conveo at the center of industry conversations
  4. Organize VIP dinners, roundtables, and side-events that deepen relationships with enterprise prospects and customers
  5. Build repeatable checklists and vendor processes so quality scales with volume

2. Run and grow virtual events and activations

Virtual is a multiplier. You own virtual events as a channel to reach US audiences between in-person moments.

  1. Plan and execute virtual roundtables, webinars, and digital activations targeting US personas
  2. Coordinate speakers, content, and promotion with marketing and sales
  3. Ensure virtual events feed the same lead-capture and follow-up workflows as in-person

3. Turn events into measurable pipeline

Events are a growth engine, not a brand exercise. You own the connection between presence and revenue at every US event.

  1. Execute lead capture and qualification workflows designed by the global events team
  2. Partner with Sales and AEs on pre-event targeting, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-up
  3. Track and report US event results: pipeline generated, meetings booked, deals influenced
  4. Run post-event debriefs that feed learnings back to the global playbook

4. Grow Conveo's US presence and network

You become the person the US industry knows and trusts.

  1. Cultivate relationships with event organizers, industry associations, and key influencers in the US market research and insights space
  2. Scout emerging events and communities where Conveo should have early presence and flag them to the Events Lead
  3. Translate real-world event energy into social media content and brand visibility
  4. Use events to strengthen relationships with existing customers and generate expansion opportunities

What We're Looking For

Must-haves

  1. 2–4 years in event marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing, with hands-on execution ownership
  2. Track record of delivering 10+ events per year across a mix of conferences, owned events, and activations
  3. Strong vendor management skills: booths, production, merch, logistics, venues
  4. Comfortable managing event budgets and reporting on spend vs. results
  5. Based in New York or willing to relocate; comfortable with frequent US travel (30–40 %)
  6. Proven ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced, remote-first environment

Mindset

  1. High agency, low ego: you see what needs to happen and you make it happen
  2. Quality-obsessed: you care about the difference between "fine" and "exceptional"
  3. Commercially minded: you think about events in terms of pipeline and relationships, not just logistics

Nice to have

  1. Network in market research, SaaS, or enterprise tech events in the US
  2. Experience with side-events: executive dinners, roundtables, intimate activations
  3. Familiarity with lead capture tools, CRM workflows, and event tech platforms
  4. Experience with virtual event platforms and hybrid formats
  5. Strong taste for brand and design: you know what premium looks like

What Success Looks Like

After 6–12 months:

  1. Every major US industry event has Conveo presence that feels category-leading
  2. US events consistently generate qualified pipeline and measurable ROI — maintaining momentum from early wins (20+ meetings per conference)
  3. You've built repeatable execution playbooks that make scaling from 15 to 25+ US events per year possible
  4. Virtual events are running regularly and contributing pipeline alongside in-person
  5. The global events team operates as one cohesive unit — no regional silos, shared reporting, unified brand
  6. Sales, founders, and customer teams actively want to participate in events because the setup is excellent
