About Us:

Business Angels Deutschland (BAND) e. V. is the umbrella organization of Business Angels and their networks in Germany. As an aggregator and think tank of the nationwide Business Angel ecosystem, we are committed to successful entrepreneurship and strengthening early-stage startup financing. We make the overall economic importance of startups and private early-stage investments visible and actively represent the ecosystem to politics and the public. Based on our practical experience as investors and networkers, we identify potential for optimization in the startup ecosystem and thus contribute to the further professionalization of early-stage financing in Germany.

BAND thrives on a strong network and dedicated people. To support our team, we are looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager (w/m/d) as soon as possible for a permanent position, approximately 20 hours per week (part-time) or full-time at the Berlin/Remote-Hybrid location, to support us in planning, implementing, and communicating marketing and network activities and to gain initial professional experience in association and network management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Marketing: Preparation, execution, and monitoring of email dispatches (newsletters, invitations, campaigns) via our marketing tool.
  2. Follow-up: Conducting telephone and written follow-up actions (e.g., for member acquisition, after events, or for campaigns).
  3. Content Support: Support in the creation and adaptation of marketing materials and presentations.
  4. Sales Assistance: Administrative support of the team in acquisition and partner management processes.
  5. Data Management: Responsibility for careful and continuous maintenance of our member and contact database (CRM) – the basis for all strategic communication activities.
  6. Event Coordination: Support in organizing networking events.
  7. Communication Support: Such as adapting marketing materials (e.g., presentations, flyers), etc.

Qualifications:

Completed commercial apprenticeship, bachelor's degree, or comparable qualification. Ideal position for motivated career starters. Basic interest in the topics of business, startups, and networking.

You bring the following skills:

  • Carefulness and Precision: Considerable care in handling data and lists (excellent Excel skills are an advantage).
  • Tool Knowledge: Initial practical experience with CRM systems and/or email marketing tools is desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills in German.
  • Work Approach: High initiative, quick comprehension, and a structured, reliable work approach.
  • Willingness to Travel: Readiness for occasional travel in the context of event support.
