As Head of Engineering at Shaped, you will be a core member of our leadership team, driving the technical vision and scaling our engineering organization. You’ll lead an exceptional team, foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, and ensure our platform remains scalable, reliable, and secure.

- Define and execute Shaped’s technical strategy in alignment with product goals
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent
- Oversee design, development, and deployment of scalable systems
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-impact features
- Implement best practices in software development, including agile methodologies and code reviews
- Ensure cloud infrastructure is robust, scalable, and automated
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years in software engineering, including leadership experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Analytical, data-driven decision-making skills
- Bonus: Experience with AI, search, recommendations, or data engineering
