As we grow, we’re looking for our first Accounting Manager to establish and own the finance and accounting functions. This is a unique opportunity to lay the foundation for a critical business function and shape the future of Oneleet’s financial operations. You’ll report to the Chief of Staff and work closely with the CEO and founding team- getting a front-row seat to building a fast-growing company!

- Accounting Operations: Lead all aspects of day-to-day accounting, including GL management, customer invoicing & subscriptions, overdue invoice processing, and financial reporting.
- Policy & Procedures: Establish and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls tailored to a fast-growing startup environment.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Systems & Infrastructure: Help develop scalable systems and processes for budgeting, cash management, and financial reporting to support company growth.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax requirements, as well as other financial and regulatory obligations.
- Strategic Financial Insight: Deliver actionable financial insights and analysis to inform executive decision-making and drive strategic planning.
- Equity Administration: Own and manage the day-to-day administration of the company’s equity program, including drafting and issuing grants, maintaining accurate records in tools like Pulley (or similar), supporting employee education around equity, and ensuring compliance with tax and legal requirements as the company scales.
- Has 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Has 2+ years of relevant work experience at a fast-paced Seed or Series A startup.
- Is no stranger to remote work; you’ve been doing it for 2+ years and know how to stay connected and productive with a globally distributed team.
- Brings strong technical accounting skills, especially around revenue recognition and internal controls.
- Has hands-on experience managing full-cycle accounting processes.
- Is a self-starter who’s comfortable building processes from scratch.
- Leverages technology and automation tools to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
- Have experience with Xero, Stripe, Pulley and/or Fondo.
- Were the first or early finance hire at a startup.
- Experience scaling an early-stage company from Seed to Series A or beyond…
