Transitioning to tech as a single mom was tough. I used FAH after a friend's suggestion not sure what to expect. I ended up connecting with a founder who took the time to hear my story. Now I'm working remotely on projects I care about, with a team who values flexibility.

I applied to a lot of jobs and didn't always feel like my background fit the usual mold. After joining FAH, I had a chance to discuss my experience more openly. Eventually, I joined a small team working on mental health, blending design with practical impact. It hasn't been easy, but I'm glad I stuck with it.

Moving from Beijing was challenging I worried about fitting in somewhere new. Through FAH, I found someone looking for a partner with my skills, who also valued different perspectives. We're still figuring things out, but it's been a surprising and positive experience so far.

My path into tech was anything but straightforward. I met founders on FAH who were willing to give me a shot, seeing beyond the usual resume. I'm now helping build educational tools for people with backgrounds like mine. It feels good to be part of something that understands real challenges.
