Role Overview

Your role is to drive new business by engaging English primary, secondary, and multi-academy trusts through proactive outreach. You’ll focus on generating qualified opportunities for the sales team while helping shape the future of outbound prospecting at Third Space Learning. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into building and leading an SDR function and take ownership of our wider demand generation efforts over time.

About Third Space Learning

Our mission is to close the attainment gap by ensuring every student is able to access great quality tutoring to help them succeed in, and love, their learning. Tutoring is one of the most effective ways to improve a student’s attainment and confidence but for too long, tutoring has been the preserve of a fortunate minority due to access and cost. AI tutoring transforms access and cost - allowing infinitely scalable high-quality education for all.

Third Space Learning works in partnership with schools to provide curriculum-aligned programs of one-to-one spoken AI maths tutoring to the students who need it most - significantly reducing the cost of providing tutoring by up to 95% - whilst increasing access to all students who require support.

We are one of the first movers in the AI tutoring market and are building the most evidenced AI tutoring solution that will change students lives. The scale of the problem we seek to solve is significant; there are 11 million disadvantaged students in the US, 1.7 million disadvantaged students in the UK, and hundreds of millions more in global markets.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive outbound prospecting to create qualified opportunities for the sales team
  2. Meet and exceed activity goals across calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
  3. Build and manage a predictable pipeline of engaged prospects
  4. Research schools and trusts to identify key stakeholders and tailor outreach messaging
  5. Maintain detailed records in Salesforce and effectively use tools such as Reply, Aircall, and Google Workspace
  6. Collaborate closely with Account Executives to improve lead quality and conversion
  7. Share feedback to help refine positioning, messaging, and outreach strategies
  8. Develop deep sector knowledge and become an expert in the Third Space Learning offering
  9. In the longer term, contribute to building out and leading the demand generation function

Requirements

  1. 1-2 years experience in a sales prospecting role (education sector experience preferred)
  2. Proven ability to generate high-quality outbound pipeline and exceed targets
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Confident, ambitious, and motivated by growth opportunities
  5. Strong organisational skills with a disciplined approach to outreach
  6. Positive attitude and genuine passion for improving educational access
  7. London-based or able to travel weekly to our East London office
