Role Overview

We’re looking for someone who thrives on bold ideas and creating high-impact brand experiences that capture attention, make customers feel valued, and provide compelling content for our marketing efforts. This role involves conceptualizing and executing unique brand activations, from pop-up events and field activations to thoughtful gifts and clever stunts that humanize B2B interactions.

This is a hands-on role where you will conceptualize daring ideas, gain internal buy-in, and bring them to life. You'll be part artist, part producer, and part mad scientist.

Responsibilities

Guerrilla & Field Activations

  1. Conceptualize creative, unconventional marketing stunts to drive brand buzz, both online and in person, working cross-functionally with the entire company.
  2. Execute these ideas hands-on, managing all logistical details including sourcing props, coordinating transportation, and planning.

Content Production & Collaboration

  1. Collaborate with the social media team to transform stunts into high-quality video content, blog posts, and customer stories.
  2. Partner with sales and customer success to identify target accounts or customers suitable for memorable brand experiences.
  3. Work with customer marketing on retention and advocacy initiatives.
  4. Align with demand generation and events teams to convert creative marketing efforts into pipeline.
  5. Develop a library of evergreen, engaging content that showcases brand personality.

Operational Ownership

  1. Manage budgets for all stunts, props, transportation, swag, and event production.
  2. Create repeatable playbooks for activations, documenting successes and failures to inform scaling strategies while maintaining a spontaneous feel.
  3. Track key metrics, including engagement, impressions, and pipeline generated.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 1+ years of experience in experiential marketing, guerrilla marketing, field marketing, creative production, brand marketing, or a similar creative field.
  2. Possess strong creative intuition with a talent for generating viral, entertaining, and surprising ideas.
  3. Exhibit excellent organizational skills to ensure the successful execution of ambitious marketing ideas.
  4. Prior experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth startups is preferred but not mandatory; creativity and execution are paramount.
  5. Demonstrate strong communication skills, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration with all departments.
  6. Willingness to travel for customer visits, events, and city activations (20-40%).
  7. Bonus points for background in video, content creation, improv, event production, or performance.

Note: This is an on-site role requiring 5 days per week at our San Francisco office.
